Welcome to Element University! We’re thrilled you’re joining our vibrant community. Orientation is your first step toward an exciting academic journey—packed with opportunities to explore campus resources, build friendships, and discover the Element spirit.
What to Expect
Warm Welcome & Keynote: Kick off with a welcome address from President Morales, followed by an inspiring keynote on “Thriving in the Element Community.”
Campus Tours: Explore residence halls, the Element Learning Commons, and our cutting-edge labs—led by current students who know all the insider tips.
Academic Advising & Registration: Meet with your academic advisor to finalize your course schedule and learn about support services: tutoring, career coaching, and our 24/7 digital help desk.
Student Life Fair: Connect with over 50 clubs and organizations—from robotics and outdoor adventure to cultural associations and performing arts.
Small-Group Icebreakers: Break the ice through fun activities designed to foster lasting friendships and help you feel at home.
Resource Workshops: Attend practical sessions on time management, campus safety, library research tools, and using our AI-powered student portal.
Evening Social: Wind down with a casual mixer on the quad: food trucks, live music, and games under the stars.

Questions & Answers
Check-in is open on Saturday, August 23, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM in the Element Learning Commons (Building C). Look for the blue “Orientation” banners by the main entrance—our student volunteers will be there to greet you, hand out your welcome packet, and help you get settled.
Please bring:
Your Element student ID (or a valid photo ID if you haven’t received it yet)
A notebook and pen (we’ll provide digital resources too, but it’s handy to jot down quick notes)
Comfortable shoes for campus tours and activities
A refillable water bottle (water stations are available across campus)
Any medication you may need, plus a basic first-aid kit if you wish
Yes! We’ve got you covered:
Saturday lunch will be served in the Student Commons (vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available)
Saturday evening social features food trucks on the Quad (snacks and refreshments included)
Sunday breakfast and lunch are in the Dining Hall (meal plan swipes are not required)If you have special dietary needs, please let us know in advance by emailing orientation@element.edu.
